1. Information We Collect
- Account information — your name and email when you sign up (via email or Google sign-in).
- Profile & resume data — the resume you upload and the profile details you enter (work history, skills, education, job preferences). This is used to tailor applications.
- Usage data — pages you visit, jobs you view, and applications you prepare, so we can improve the product.
- Payment data — if you upgrade, payments are handled by our payment provider. We do not store your full card number.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the service: find jobs, score your fit, and generate tailored resumes and cover letters.
- To process your resume text through AI models so we can match and write applications for you.
- To maintain your account, application history, and preferences.
- To improve VeloApply and respond to support requests.
3. Third-Party Services
We rely on trusted providers to run VeloApply:
- Authentication — Google Firebase (for secure login).
- AI processing — your job-relevant text is sent to an AI provider to generate applications. It is not used to identify you publicly.
- Job listings — we query public job APIs to show you openings.
- Payments — a third-party payment processor handles billing securely.
4. Data Retention & Your Rights
You can edit or delete your profile and resume at any time from your account. If you want your data fully removed, contact us and we will delete it. You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information.
5. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure authentication. No system is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
6. Cookies & Analytics
We use minimal cookies and privacy-friendly analytics to understand how visitors use the site. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
7. Children
VeloApply is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes
