Who is behind VeloApply?
VeloApply was built by Haseeb Kamran, who spent more than eight years in recruitment and HR before writing a line of this product. That work involved sitting on both sides of the process: screening candidates for employers, and later working directly with job seekers on their resumes, their applications and their interview preparation.
The product came out of a specific frustration. Doing that work by hand meant retyping the same work history into the same handful of application systems, over and over, for people who were already qualified for the roles they were applying to. The typing was not the valuable part. The judgment was. Software can do the typing.
What do we actually believe?
Three things shape most of the decisions here.
The applicant presses submit. An application goes out under your name, and a wrong answer to an eligibility or legal question is not a small mistake. So VeloApply drafts and fills, highlights what it produced, and stops. It does not auto-submit, and it will not, even though that would be an easier thing to market.
Nothing is invented. The AI works from the profile you give it. It does not manufacture jobs, skills or achievements you never entered. If your profile does not support an answer, the tool leaves it for you rather than making something up that you then have to defend in an interview.
The boring part should be free. Autofill runs from your own saved profile and costs nothing to run, so it is unlimited on the free plan. Paid plans exist for the AI tailoring, which does have a real cost behind it.
How does VeloApply make money?
Through subscriptions, and nothing else. There are no ads, and your data is not sold to recruiters, data brokers or anyone else. You can read exactly what is collected and where it is stored in the privacy policy.
Who is this not for?
Being honest about this saves everyone time. If you want a service that submits hundreds of applications on your behalf without your involvement, VeloApply is the wrong tool, and one of the bulk auto-apply services will suit you better. If you want a human to run your search for you, that is a different kind of service entirely.
